Make your home
feel good.
Feel good at home.
Gentle styling consultations that work with what you already have — turning the everyday into something quieter, kinder, more alive. For the homes you live in — and the homes your guests stay in.
A home isn't a finished thing.
It's a slow conversation between you and the rooms you live in.
The magic, when it happens, is mostly recognition — small, considered moves that turn what's already there into something a little more alive.
Your home shapes how you feel.
This isn't a soft idea. It's well-established in environmental psychology: the spaces we live in measurably affect our stress, sleep, focus and mood — every day, whether we notice it or not.
Less stress, from small changes
A 2022 study found that people who made small, intentional changes to their home — better lighting, more plants, softer textures — reported a 21% reduction in stress levels over six months.
The time we spend indoors
We spend roughly 90% of our lives inside. Yet most of us have never been taught how to make those rooms support our nervous system rather than work against it.
Living neurodivergent lives
Around one in seven of us is neurodivergent — and sensory-aware homes (texture, lighting, calm corners, predictable sightlines) make a measurable difference to daily regulation and rest.
Decades of research in environmental psychology and biophilic design come back to the same handful of things. These are the levers I pull in every consultation.
Natural light
Tied to mood, sleep and circadian rhythm. The single biggest free intervention in any home.
Nature, indoors
Plants, natural materials, organic forms — proven to lower cortisol and ease anxiety.
Sensory load
Texture, sound, sightlines, clutter. Calm corners and predictable layouts for nervous-system rest.
Colour & rhythm
The palette and pace of a home — what it asks of you in the morning, what it releases you to in the evening.
So when I say I want your home to bring you back to yourself — I mean it literally. The right small changes, made gently, do exactly that.
Hello, I'm Kate
I believe a home should be the place that brings you back to yourself. Softer, slower, kinder than the day outside.
My own home runs between two places — the UK and Barbados — which has taught me how much light, climate and ritual shape the way a space feels. Foraged stems, slow tablescapes, the way an evening folds in over a candle: these are the small things I keep coming back to.
I'm also mum to a neurodiverse child, which has shaped my approach more than any styling course could. I think a lot about sensory load — texture, sound, sightlines, where the calm corners live — because I've learned that beautiful homes only work when they hold every person who lives in them.
So I work in two directions. With families who love their home but feel a little stuck — gentle edits and considered restyling until the whole house exhales. And with hosts of rentals, second homes and small boutique stays — because the same principles that make a family feel held also make a guest feel utterly welcomed. Either way: no big reveal, no tearing it all up. Just small, considered moments, layered slowly.
My favourite thing about this work is the moment a room changes character. Not because something was added, but because something was noticed. The same lamp, moved six inches. The bowl that was in the back of a cupboard, set on the windowsill. The chair turned toward the light rather than the door. Small reveals, considered ones, and the room becomes itself.
Four things shape every consultation — they come up again and again, in every home I help.
Foraged stems
A walk, a hedgerow, a single branch in a jug — small green moments that change a room.
Slow tablescapes
The table as ritual. How a laid table changes the pace of a whole evening.
Mindful at home
I'm mum to a neurodiverse child — sensory-aware styling is at the heart of how I work with family homes.
UK & Barbados
Two homes, two climates, endless travel inspiration — places shape how I see colour, light and ease.
Three gentle steps
A first conversation
We start with a relaxed chat — about your home, how you live in it, what's working, what isn't, and how you want it to feel.
The walk-through
In person or on video, we go room by room. I notice, listen, and start gathering the threads. I never push, never overwhelm.
Your home edit
You receive a written edit — what to keep, restyle, rehome or refresh, with sources for anything new. Small changes, deep effect.

Coming soon
A slow letter, by post (almost).
Once a month, a quiet email about wellbeing, mindful styling, and the places that move me — between the UK and Barbados, the table and the garden, the still moments and the busy ones.
No noise. No frequency creep. One letter a month, when it's ready.
Tell me about your home
I'd love to hear what's drawing you here. A few sentences is enough to start.
